Q: I have a son who is 3 years and 4 months old weighing around 13 kgs. For about 2 to 3 months, he has started being very cranky. A:Itching over palms in a child one has to be cautious in evaluation. Scabies has to be considered. Anti-scabicidal treatment 5 % permethrine below neck application for 6 hrs contact has to be applied. Hygienic measures has to be taken. Consult your dermatologist to confirm and evaluate.
