What is the cause for itching in the palms and feet of a child?

Q: I have a son who is 3 years and 4 months old weighing around 13 kgs. For about 2 to 3 months, he has started being very cranky. He just refuses to listen to anything I tell him and says no to what ever I ask him. His appetite is also going dull day by day. I have to feed him each time with great difficulty. Comparatively, he has started eating a lot of sweets and chocolates these days. Apart from these he has started having itching in the palms and feet. This usually happen when he wakes up from his sleep. Can you please suggest me something? I am much too worried with his behaviour and also since I am a working woman I do not have much time to give to him.
