What does my semen analysis suggest?

Q: I am a 24 years old male, who got married eight months back. I underwent semen analysis. My semen analysis showed sperm volume of 2 ml, active sperm is 55%, creamish white colour, sluggish sperm is 10%, alkaline dead sperms - 35%, liquefaction time of 20 minutes and pus cells is 2 -3 /HPF. The total sperm count is 45 million/ml. What does my semen analysis suggest?

A:Your semen analysis looks normal. There are several other factors other than semen analysis as to why a couple remains infertile. You should consult a urologist if you have questions and your wife needs a consultation with an obstetrician if the problem persists beyond one year of trying to have a child. Since you are young and I assume your wife would be too, just keep trying appropriately and things will turn out well.
