Q: I am a 44 year old male. After skin grafting of burnt area on both my hands, I get itching sensation from underneath the grafted portion. Also, the grafted skin has become thick. The grafting was done 15 years back. Please advise some suitable remedy to prevent itching and also to make the skin thinner and soft.

A:For itching underneath the grafted portion, you should massage cold cream or vaseline into the grafted area. For thickening of grafted skin, you may require Plastic Surgery. Please consult a Plastic Surgeon in your area.
