Q: I am facing a problem of blue visible veins on both my hands. When I come in sunlight they are even more visible. Can it be non-visible without any surgical treatment? I don't have varicose veins or spider veins. Please comment.

A:It is natural for the veins to be visible in the hand on the dorsum (back of the hand) and there is no need for any treatment of this condition. It is also natural for the veins to become prominent during the exposure to heat, as the veins dilate when exposed to the warm climate and constrict when exposed to the cold. It is the temperature sensitivity of the veins.
