Knee replacement

Q: I am suffering from osteoarthritis of knee joints. After having arthroscopic knee surgery there is no relief. I have been advised to have knee replacement. My question is will my knee pain go away after knee replacement? Can osteoporosis be cured? Please advise.

A:If arthroscopic surgery has not helped your knee, then it certainly needs total knee replacement. The operation of replacement will take care of your pain and make you able to walk normally. Osteoporosis can not be completely eliminated but can be kept under control by taking regular calcium and vitamins.
