Is there a cure for headaches associated with sex?

Q: I am 40 years old, suffering from high blood pressure 140/90 and taking Amlong 5 mg. I also have slight anxiety and depression. After sex, I get a severe headache and this aggravates dullness and depression. Please suggest a permanent cure to avoid headaches after sex. I tried homeopathy, escitalopram and zapiz for 3 months but in vain.

A:Unfortunately there is no cure for the headaches associated with sexual intercourse. Taking Indomethacin 25 mg 1-2 hours before the planned sexual intercourse may help. The dose can be increased to 50 mg. Please note this medication should not be taken on an empty stomach. If you have high blood pressure, stomach ulcers or kidney damage this medication should be used with caution.
