Q: I am a 25 years old male with a curved penis. I consulted a doctor who told me that I don’t have Peyronie's. I have been asked to go for a surgery. How much will the surgery cost? I have a very good erection and my penile length is almost 7-8 inches after erection. Will the surgery impact my penile length?

A:I would not take decision to operate upon you simply because your penis is curved. If you have no pain, if you have good erection and if you have no problem on intercourse leave it as it is. For me cost is not as important as the fact that the surgery for curvature correction is not totally complication free. I have rarely found patients complaining of any problem during intercourse simply because they have curvature of the penis.
