A:Gynaecomastia is treated by excision, not by liposuction. Small scar, 4-5 cm, will initially be visible but after a few years will usually be very faint, though your girlfriend is more likely to be able to see it than other people. You will usually need one night in hospital. Don't go to the cheapest and smallest centre; look up a senior surgeon in an established centre. Plastic surgeons will also do the job, but will probably be much more expensive. A general surgeon is usually okay.
