Q: It has been a week that I stopped bottle-feeding my two and a half years old son. From then on, he has stopped having milk. I am unable to convince him to start having milk through glass or a mug. I am trying to give him milk supplements like mango shake or chiku milkshake, but he is not having them in good quantity. He is having his other meals/food properly. What should I do?

A:It is a good thing that you have stopped giving him milk with bottle. Don't insist on too much of milk. He may consume curd or other milk products. He needs only two cups of milk or milk products per day. Even if he does not consume milk or milk products for few days it is fine. Since he is consuming good amount of home made food this should take care of his calorie and protein intake.
