How can we select a good moisturising soap?
Q: The doctors usually advise a moisturiser soap and cream for dry skin. Today there are a lot of moisturisers available in the market. It will be helpful if the doctors can advise how to select a good soap, cream and deodorant. We go for the one, which is available and don't know how to select a good one, which is not allergic to the skin. For example there is SPF to look for the sunscreen cream. Please advise.
A:It has been rightly pointed out that sunscreens have their SPF (for whatever it is worth) labelled on the containers, while such indices are not available on soaps and moisturisers. The practical way to choose a soap or moisturiser is a trial and error method, because it is so difficult to embrace or condemn particular brands. An easier method for the choice of a soap is to allow a small portion of the lather to enter the eyes and compare the burning sensation so caused by different brands. This is a particularly useful method to choose baby soaps.
