How can my daughter’s asthma be managed?
Q: My 25 years old daughter has been suffering from asthma for the last 12 years and is allergic to dust and smoke. Before that she had bronchitis. She has a lot of phlegm and hardly spit. Her problem gets aggravated in winters. She has low blood pressure problem too.
A:She should be under regular follow up of her doctor especially to regulate the inhaler doses. She should avoid strong smells, pollution, dust etc as well as excessive exercise, which can trigger asthma. Breathlessness, phlegm and cough will be controlled with proper dose of inhalers.
