Q: I have been Dyeing my hair since two years, as they have turned grey, but the problem is that since the day I have started using the dye my hair has started to fall. Of late I am losing hair rapidly. I have tried all sorts of dye. Is there any cure for this? Is there any herbal dye which can stop the hair falling?

A:Hair dye does not cause hair fall unless the person develops allergic dermatitis. In a 30 year old male the probable cause is male pattern baldness, which is amenable to treatment with topical(minoxidil) as well as oral (finasteride 1 mg) drugs.
