Can my mother take an air journey with bronchitis and hip joint problem?
Q: My mother is 62 years old and has bronchitis and a problem in her hip joint. We are planning to visit Kerala by air. Will my mother be able to travel by air with these problems?
A:The hip joint will pose no problem as most airlines provide wheel chair facility. If her bronchitis is well controlled, there is no problem. She may need to carry her inhaler etc. with her on the plane. Flight per se should pose no problems to someone suffering from bronchitis.
