The United States Preventive Service Task Force, or USPSTF, has recently recommended that those who are more than 50 years of age and have a more than 10 per cent risk of Cardiovascular Disease should take a low dose of aspirin. The drug is used for prevention of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart attack and stroke, and also colon cancer.
