12 killed in shooting at Colorado theater

A gunman armed with three weapons, including a rifle and shotgun, opened fire in a theatre crowded with families and children at a midnight showing of the Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" in a Denver suburb early Friday morning, killing at least 12 people and wounding at least 38 others, the local police and federal officials said.
