Q: I am a 29 years old female, pregnant with twins after intrauterine insemination (IUI). During my first trimester, I suffered from severe nausea and didn't eat properly due to this. Now, I am stepping into my twentieth week of pregnancy and still eat less. Would this affect my baby’s development?
A:Yes, poor appetite and intake of food can harm the growth and development of the baby, so take enough food, in small frequent meals, rich in proteins and calories, to improve your baby's health. You can take some measures to reduce nausea through lime drinks, or sweets.
