Q: My pap smear result shows inflammation with many haemosiderin laden macrophages. What does it mean?
A:Inflammation does not neccesarily mean cancer or precancerous cells. You areon the right regimen for the inflammatory cells on the pap. I will suggestwaiting for about six to eight weeks after finishing your medicines, and then, repeat the pap. Try to avoid sexual intercourse for about 3-5 daysbefore your next pap. I am glad you are getting pap done.
