Q: I am a 32 years old female. To detect the potency of the fallopian tubes, hysterosalpingography (HSG) was performed, which reported that one of my tubes is blocked. What treatment should I undertake? Will I be able to conceive naturally if laparoscopy is successful?
A:It depends on which site your tube has been blocked to detect whether they can be opened. A cornual blockage is the one which can be opened hysteroscopically. Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy is a must to know whether anything can be done for your blocked tubes.
