Why isn't my niece eating properly?

Q: My brother's daughter is 4 years old. She was operated for tonsils and adenoids, 15 days back. Though she is fine now, she is not eating her food properly. Before the operation also she was not eating. What might be the problem? Please suggest.

A:If she was not eating because of adenoids or enlarged tonsils, she should start eating well in next few days. Otherwise you may get in touch with your paediatrician to find out the reason for not eating well.
