Why is it still difficult for me to conceive?

Q: My blood type is O positive and my spouse’s is B positive. We have been together for five years now and it is still difficult for me to conceive. I conceived once about three years ago but had a miscarriage. Since then, it has become difficult. I consulted a doctor the result was that I did not have any infertility problem. I also did an abortion by means of DNC seven years ago. The hospital also put me on a treatment with a pill call Clomidfin and that treatment was for about two years but in vain. I would be grateful for an advice.
A:You are suffering from secondary infertility. Female infertility may be broken into several categories: Ovulatory problems, Cervical factors, Pelvic and tubal factors, and Uterine factors. Often, a combination of these problems exists. Approximately 10% of infertile women suffer from unexplained infertility. This simply means that the commonly performed tests to diagnose the cause of infertility are all normal and do not define the reason for infertility. Male causes include low sperm counts, abnormal sperm morphology (shape), and low sperm motility. Both of you need to consult a fertility specialist who can examine, investigate and advise appropriately.
