Why has my daughter got red spots over her body?

Q: My daughter is 1 year and 8 months old. She had developed pimple sized red colour spots on her legs, anus, hands, cheeks and forehead. We showed her to a paediatrician, who diagnosed her for papular urticaria. He advised Clamp 5 ml twice a day; Fusidin to be applied twice a day; Lactcare to be applied at night and Cetrizine 2.5 ml twice a day. What is the cause for developing the above problem? Is it dangerous and will it occur again in future?

A:Your child has developed urticaria, which are allergic skin rashes and are usually benign and tend to settle down with anti-allergic medicines like cetrizine. The only problem is that they may recur, but tend to settle over a period of time.
