Why does my son have itchy eyes?

Q: My 7 years old son has itches in both the eyes all the time. His eyes also looks reddish. Please advise.

A:Itching means he has allergy. Give cold packs on both his eyes. Check if he has dandruff or blepharitis. Does he have a red eye, like in Vernal catarrh? The best would be to keep his surroundings really clean, blow up his pillow and beds, avoid dust and fumes, and consult an eye specialist.
