Why do I feel testicular pain during sex?

Q: I am a 22 years old male getting pain in the testes and thighs during sex. Why does it happen?

A:Sexual arousal causes vasocongestion (increase in blood flow) of the genital organs and this might cause some congestive pain in the testes. Such pain is common and is usually relieved by ejaculation. There are some other, more serious causes too, like a torsion (twist) of the testis, or other intra-scrotal disease. If ejaculation does not relieve the pain, you may need an andrological evaluation.
