Q: My 34 years old friend had a heart attack some time back. Five days back, he lost his left eye vision. What could be the reason?

A:It is related to ischemia or lack of proper blood circulation of the visual pathways. It could be due to the causative or risk factors that caused the heart attack are not fully reversed or corrected. It could also be an embolus or blood clot that has migrated from the thrombosed vessels to the visual pathways circulation. You need to show your friend to an eye specialist and a cardiologist.
