Q: I am a 34 years old female and my LH, FSH and prolactin levels keep fluctuating. After taking medicine, they come to their normal range but even then I am not able to conceive. I had TORCH test done and everything is normal. My tubes are open and I don't have any ovulation problem. Both I and my husband have B+ blood group. Why am I not getting pregnant?
A:You are suffering from a condition called unexplained infertility, if all tests are normal, in which case egg formation by drugs and then IUI (Intrauterine insemination of semen) is known to help. You need to follow with an infertility specialist, and 3-6 cycles can be tried. If they fail, then IVF is an option. Also, you need to make sure that your thyroid levels are normal.
