Which is better - Maryland bridge or dental implants?

Q: I am a healthy 37 years old woman with 2 lateral incisors missing. I have a flipper and would like to replace it with either a Maryland bridge or dental implants. I have researched both, consulted with my dentist and an oral surgeon and cannot decide, which is the better treatment? I am an ideal candidate for both. In your experience, which procedure is the most optimal? Cost is not an issue.

A:Implants are probably a better idea for you. Of course an X-ray is needed before we can make a final decision. Keeping in mind that you are only 37, if the bone condition is conducive, implants are a more permanent option. I hope this helps you in making a decision. If you need more info you can write in again.
