When will my son start walking?

Q: My 11 months old son has not started walking yet and cannot even stand. He is healthy and physically fine too. His height is 50 cm and weight is 9 kg. Please advise.

A:Not all children walk at nine months of age. Most children walk around 12-15 months of age and some as late as 18 months. If your child is doing all the other things he should be doing at his age then don't worry. He will walk when he is ready.
