Q: Which one is best for my 3.5 months old baby - milk with corn flake and cashew nuts or milk with home made chapati in her breakfast?
A:According to the current recommendations, weaning should not be started until 6 months of age. If however you intend to start earlier the safest food to start is fruit mashed such as banana or apple. As far as cereals are concerned, try and give custard, rice kheer, dal and rice mashed, or dahi. Introduce one food at a time and slowly increase the amount.
