When can one resume household activities and sex after a tubectomy?

Q: I have undergone tubectomy family planning operation about 45 days back. I am alright now. I have been taking rest since then. Our elders say that I need to take rest for another 45 days. How soon can I resume normal household activities like washing clothes, cooking and cleaning of vessels and taking children to school? More importantly how soon I can resume sex?
