When can I conceive normally?

Q: I am a 29 years old married woman and I am planning to conceive for the last 3 months. The doctor asked me to go for some tests - FSH and LH etc. All the tests were normal (LH - 6.78 mIU/ml and FSH - 10.33 mIU/ml) and the ultrasound report was normal too. Please advise.
A:Please get the tests done from a certified lab and remember, they have to be done on Day 2 or Day 3 of your cycle (counting your fist day of menses as Day 1). If blood tests were done on Day 2 or 3, then I am not too worried. Ensure your husband's semen test is done, your postcoital test (PCT) is done- and if these initial tests are normal, you can try for 3 months (on fertile days of your cycle). If you do not conceive within next 3 months, you need to undergo full work up- especially ultrasound (US) monitoring for ovulation and endometrial thickness, endometrial biopsy (EB) for histopathology and PCR Myc TB, serum progesterone 7 days after ovulation is documented by US and HSG (to test potency of tubes- done after endometrial biopsy in next cycle).
