Q: My left hand's fingers and palm are getting thinner - one ring finger is slightly tilted - day by day there is loss of flesh also. I am getting treatment, but am not satisfied. My blood sugar is also normal. Please suggest a remedy.
A:One of the causes of thinning of the hand and clawing of the fingers is disease of the nerves supplying the muscles of the hand. Please consult a good neurologist in your neighbourhood. The doctor may advise an electrical test aimed at testing the nerves and muscles - nerve conduction test and electromyography. Such tests can give vital information.
