What medicines are safe during pregnancy?

Q: Sir, I have been prescibed GESTIN (Allylestrenol-5mg) tab and following conception of 2-weeks, B-FOLCIN & CALCIMAX 30 tablets each. My question is - is it a suitable dose and can it be harmful to me or my baby?

A:I would only reccomend folic acid 5 mg. tablets once a day. Other tablets are not used in early pregnancy now a days with the availability of micronized progesterones.
