Q: What is the role of insulin in human body? What is the difference between the human insulin and the insulin available in the market for managing diabetes?

A:Insulin is produced by Pancreas, for mainly controlling blood sugar but it also plays an important role in other body mechanisms. Human insulin is more pure insulin with minimum reactions or allergy. Other types of insulin are extracted from animals’ pancreas and these are gradually disappearing from the market.
