What is the reason for repeated abortions?

Q: I want to know the reason of multiple missed abortion, my doctors unable to find cause and I had to face 6 missed abortion, I'm depressed pls advice

A:There can be several reasons for repeated abortions. One has to do intensive investigations to rule out causes under the following categories:

Hormonal problems like thyroid, diabetes
Immunological issues
Anatomical such as any uterine defects
Genetic problems
