What is the life expectancy of a child with Down's syndrome & congenital heart disease?

Q: What is the life expectancy of a new born case of Down's syndrome with bilateral cataract, complete AV canal defect (VSD), severe infundibular and pulmonary stenosis, hypoplastic pulmonary annulus, adequate size pulmonary artery, small PDA, normal bi-ventricular function if managed only on medicine?

A:With this kind of complex congenital heart disease and Down's syndrome the life expectancy would be few weeks to few months. Even surgical intervention has very poor results.
