What is the cause for nasal discharge?

Q: During the day, water comes out of my nose. What does that mean? Should I be concerned?

A:I suggest you see an ENT doctor. The possibilities are either nasal discharge due to inflammation in the nose (rhinitis) or rarely leakage of CSF (cerebrospinal fluid - fluid around the brain) through the roof of the nose into and out of the nostrils. It is best to have it checked.
