Q: I have got bad breath. Actually I had an accident long time ago & my front tooth got broken in half & my dentist put a cap on that. Now I had removed my broken tooth & am using a partial denture. I have no bad teeth & before I had removed my daad. The x-ray of my jaw showed a bit of pus in my upper teeth but after my dentist got it extracted he told me the pus will dry off but still after 2 months I am facing this problem. Kindly advise.
A:Bad breath is caused by periodontitis, that is gum infection. You probably need gum treatment. If there is pus in your front tooth you will have swelling and pain the treatment for that is antibiotics. Go back to your dentist and get the correct treatment done.
