Q: If one decides not to get an HRT after menopause (by means of pan hysterectomy due to fibroid) and suffers greatly from hot flushes what remedy or help can one take? Is Isoflavone the solution? How much/when does one take that if this is the solution or one of the solutions?
A:You may take Isoflavone as a nutritional supplement because that is what it is. Isoflavone is not a substitute for HRT. If you do not wish to get into HRT, then regular exercise, yoga may help.
