Q: What does the tablet Hemogold contain? What is it used for?

A:Hemogold is the brand name of an irrational combination of iron, folic acid, B-12, selenium, E and zinc. It does not appear on the national and international databank of rational, permitted combinations. Such combinations are not allowed to be sold in advanced countries. It is not a prescription medicine and has no specific role. There is no benefit in taking such irrational combinations. The recently published report of the National Commission on Macroeconomics and Health has called upon the government to ban such products since they are over-priced and have no clinical value.
