Q: Please explain to me what allergic sinusitis is?
A:Allergic rhinitis is an allergic process involving the nasal passages leading to intense inflammation, itching, oozing of secretions and ultimately their thickening leading to blockage of the nostrils. It can lead to blockage of the passage to the sinuses thereby causing sinusitis.
