What does my insulin level indicate?

Q: I am a 28 years old housewife. I have 79.12 u/ml insulin levels. Is it a reason to worry? I used to take Glyciphase SR for one year.

A:Insulin level alone has no meaning. It depends why it was done. In case there is obesity, irregular periods, abnormal hair growth, then this test is done. Treatment is based on complaints and not on a blood result.
