A:6/9 or 6/12 vision means that the letters in the chart should be read at 9 metres or 12 metres but you are only able to read at 6 metres i.e. at closer distance. Make sure that glasses are correctly tested and made. It is unlikely to improve but it is not bad for your day-to-day life’s requirements.
