A:Calcium oxalate crystals on microscopic examination of urine are a normal finding, and have no correlation with stone formation at all. Presence of trace of proteins may also be normal, but may require further testing with microalbuminuria, and a spot urinary protein creatinine ratio before giving you a 100% assurance that everything is normal.
