Q: If a person from birth does not have one ear, but he can hear properly, is there any operation required? Is it safe to do that or is it dangerous for life?

A:If the person does not have one ear, but can hear properly from the other ear, it would be safer to just do a cosmetic surgery to give an artificial outer ear, without interfering with the canal or middle ear, as it may causefacial paralysis.
