Q: What are the symptoms of macular oedema of the eye?

A:Macular oedema causes central vision blurring, distortion of images, vertical or horizontal lines appear crooked, change in colour perception and a defect in central field of vision i.e. if you close unaffected eye, there will be difficulty in seeing TV, reading and recognising peoples faces.
