Q: I have been suffering from migraine from my childhood and have been under treatment. Recently, my doctor prescribed me Flunarine, Propranolol and Prochlorperazine for ten days. Are there any side effects of these drugs?
A:All medicines have side effects; hence, they should be used only when clearly indicated. Flunarizine is meant to prevent migraine attacks. Propranolol is also indicated for prevention of migraine. These medicines do not act when an attack has already taken place. Prochlorperazine prevents vomiting, which often occurs during migraine attacks.
