Q: I am 29 years old and have polycystic ovary and arcuate uterus. I had a miscarriage in the 5th week two years ago. I conceived again the following year and till five weeks the growth was fine. But in the seventh week, foetal heart beat was not there and by 8th week D&C was performed. How complicated will my future pregnancy be? What care should I take to make it safe?

A:There is an increased risk of complications like abortions and preterm labour because of the two disease conditions that you have, but still, the chance of a normal pregnancy and delivery are higher. After about 6 months, you can try, knowing the risks, for which precautions and treatment with hormone progesterone or HCG injections can be given, once you are pregnant.
