Q: What are the chances of penile cancer at the age of 25 years. I am suffering from phimosis and I am afraid that I may get it? What are the symptoms? Is there any treatment for phimosis other than surgery?

A:Penile cancer is rare in young age. It presents as growth over glans, normally covered by prepuce. You are unable to retract the prepuce if you have phimosis. Treatment of phimosis is necessary more for hygienic reasons and cause it may get traumatised during intercourse. It may also lead to emergencies like paraphimosis.
