Q: I am a 24 years old pregnant woman having hypothyroidism. I am taking Thyronorm 75 mcq/day for the last 2 months. Now, it has been found that FT3 is 2.94 pg/ml and FT4 is 1.66 ng/100 ml. Should I continue this medicine? Is it safe for my pregnancy?
A:Thyroid is very important during pregnancy. The dose normally increases almost every month. Your values look normal hence continue the same dose under guidance of your doctor.
