Q: Is it safe for a person with blood pressure - 130/90 (mild hypertensive), taking Propanolol 20 mg twice a day to do sauna in a gymnasium / club for 10 minutes or so? Does it aggravate the blood pressure?

A:It is absolutely safe to go in for sauna for you. In fact all kinds of activities in the gymnasium are allowed. Your BP however needs to be kept below 85mm Hg diastolic. You can see your treating physician for this.
